What is wheel alignment?

Wheel alignment is the process of measuring and adjusting the steering and suspension components on your car to within the vehicle manufacturer’s specifications to improve comfort, performance, handling and safety. Essentially, wheel alignment involves adjusting the position of the wheels with one another and the road to increase the life of your tyres and your suspension.

How do I know if I need a wheel alignment?

Your steering could be veering off to one side or you may even have uneven tyre wear. If the handling of your vehicle is compromised then your alignment may be out.

After hitting a pothole last night on our visit to Hastings . Went round 4 local garages who didn’t stock our tyre size . Not only did tyre torque have our size but a varied selection at very competitive prices . Very quickly sorted and very pleasant staff. Can’t recommend enough Glad to see good service isn’t dead . Went to this garage to have tyres re-balanced and the tyre sensor looked at. The garage found my TPMS sensor loose in the tyre, taped and cable tied! (caused by going to RAC tyres - local garage in Ninfield). The guys were ultra fast, friendly and helpful. Will definitely use them again.

Visited today for the third time in about 4 years. The staff are super helpful, and the young lad changing my tyre couldn't do enough to help me in my predicament! Locking wheel nut wouldn't come off and after sorting that out at another local garage I had my tyre changed super quick and all the locking nuts changed to normal nuts. Great prices, great staff, great waiting time, great selection. What else could you ask for...? Except maybe a drinks machine.. ;)

I came to Tyre Torque earlier today to get my tyre repaired. I got told by the man at reception that it couldn't be repaired (even though it could) and after telling him that it is repairable, he gave me attitude and told me to go somewhere else...so I did. I went to T&L tyres and got the tyre repaired and got good customer service. Tyre Torque have lost a customer.

Hit a huge pothole and my tyre went completely flat, luckily was able to drive to these guys without the tyre completely falling off although it was very battered by the time I got there. Didnt book in or call ahead just got there as it opened. Was taken care of, everyone I spoke to was polite, nobody tried to oversell or feed me any lies. Great service and great prices. They also were just as courteous with everyone else who came after me too. Def recommend to anyone in the area :)

Absolutely life saving! We were on a camping holiday, when we realised a flat tyre on our pop up caravan, called around the area to get the best quote, and Tyre Torque were the cheapest and most prompt with our order, picked it up the next morning, even tho it was quite a rare size!
